Joining a live event

What happens when your leader goes live, and what you'll see.

When an event goes live, everyone watching follows the same run of show without touching anything.

Getting in

If you're an approved member of the organization, the event appears in the app's Events tab when it goes live, and you'll get a notification. Tap it and you're in.

Some organizations open events to people who aren't members. Those events have a join code, or a QR code you can scan with the app's scanner.

What you'll see

Whatever the leader casts: a song, a single verse or chorus as a slide, a Bible reading, an announcement, a prayer request, or a poll or quiz you can answer. Songs open in the reader so you keep your own chords, key and font size.

An event can run several sessions at once — say a main hall and a youth session. If more than one is live you'll be asked which to join.

Polls and quizzes

Tap your answer. You can change it until the poll closes, and once it does everyone sees the results. Quizzes are scored — join with a name and an avatar, and the leaderboard shows at the end.
