Vercast has two halves: the mobile app you read from on stage, and the web console you use to manage songs, organizations and events. Most singers only ever need the app.
1. Install the app
Get Vercast from the App Store — it runs on iPhone, iPad and Apple Silicon Macs — or from Google Play on Android, and open it. You can browse without an account, but signing in is what links you to your organization and its events.
No phone to hand? You can read songs and public songbooks at vercast.app in any browser.
2. Create an account
Sign up with your email address, or continue with Google or Apple. If you sign in with Google or Apple and later want an email password too, you can add one from Settings — see Your account.
3. Download a song library
Songs live in per-language libraries that you download to your device. The first time you open the app, a short setup asks which libraries you want and which one should be your default, then which Bible to keep beside them. The songs are then on the device and work with no connection at all. You can change any of it later under Settings → Libraries and languages.
An English Bible ships inside the app, so the Bible tab works from the first launch even with no connection.
You can hold up to seven song libraries at once. That is a deliberate limit — libraries are stored in full on the device so they work offline.
4. Join your organization
Find your church or ministry under Organizations and request to join. An administrator approves you, and from then on you'll see their events and get a notification when one goes live.
If you run the service
There are two more free apps. Vercast Studio is the operator console — it is on the App Store for iPad and on Google Play for Android tablets, and it is what you build a run of show in and cast from. Vercast TV is the display at the front of the room, on Apple TV, Android TV, Fire TV and Roku.

Vercast TV is a display, not a source. It shows what Studio casts to it over your own Wi‑Fi, so it needs Studio running on a tablet on the same network — it has no library of its own.
